DeLunda is a very open, fun-loving and compassionate person who was raised in a community similar to Athens. Upon her first visit to the campus, she knew she would fit right in. Throughout her journey in higher education, she has found that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. She often tells her students, it doesn’t matter where you come from, but how you finish. Education is something that can never be taken from you.
