Director of Career Development
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” – Harriet Tubman
I am a very open, fun-loving and compassionate person raised in a community similar to Athens. There was a sense of home when I visited the campus, and I knew I would fit right in. In my journey of higher education, I have found that every student that I come in contact with deserves the opportunity to succeed. I often tell my students, it doesn’t matter where you come from, but how you finish. Your education can never be taken from you. – DeLunda “Candy” Maddux
