TWU Pledge Accepting Students for Fall 2024

Free TWUition graphicThe TWU Pledge, Tennessee Wesleyan University’s exciting last dollar scholarship program is enrolling students for the Fall 2024 semester. This scholarship will allow incoming freshmen students meeting certain criteria to attend Tennessee Wesleyan tuition free.

“Choosing a college is a major decision, and often a major investment. We want to make sure the financial component is not a burden for families,” said Sara Hopper, Executive Director of Admissions at TWU.

Freshmen students meeting the criteria, which include being HOPE Scholarship eligible and a family adjusted gross income of $36,000, will be able to attend Tennessee Wesleyan tuition free. This provides improved student access and affordability to students across the entire state of Tennessee.

Tennessee Wesleyan consistently ranks high in many college and university ranking agencies, often with a cost of attendance well below other regional private and public universities. The TWU Pledge, for those meeting the criteria, will make Tennessee Wesleyan an even better option as students consider their post-secondary education options.

The criteria are simple for the TWU Pledge.

  • Student must be an incoming Freshman; transfer students do not qualify.
  • Student must be a resident of Tennessee with at least a 3.0 GPA or 21 on the ACT.
  • Household adjusted gross income must be $36,000 or less (based on 2022 tax return)
  • Student must complete the FAFSA by April 1, 2024.
