In 2020, Tennessee Wesleyan and Nagasaki Wesleyan facilitated a transfer exchange program allowing TWU and NWU students to study at the other school while paying tuition to the home institution. Johny was able to return to Tennessee Wesleyan University this year as a student, and he intends to help in this exchange any way he can.
