Find out how affordable an out-of-state education can be
From what you want to study to the university you want to attend, your college years and the higher education career you build should be everything you want it to be. That’s why Tennessee Wesleyan University has long since decided to do away with specific out-of-state tuition and, instead, focus on supporting every student who wants to achieve a TWU degree.
At Tennessee Wesleyan University, every full-time student pays the same tuition, regardless of their home state.
Out-of-State Students Receive a $2,000 Grant
We’re committed to keeping your education costs low. In our effort to provide you with the maximum amount of assistance, you will receive a $2,000 out-of-state grant in addition to your academic merit award, the federal financial aid you receive and any scholarships you earn.
By choosing Tennessee Wesleyan University as an out-of-state student, you won’t be losing your state aid. While you won't qualify for state aid from your home state or Tennessee, TWU established the out-of-state grant so you wouldn't have to choose between in-state or out-of-state because of cost. Be sure to check the average amount of aid distributed in your state to really compare your actual costs.
