The transition to college can be challenging, but we can help.

TWU offers a variety of resources to support you through your transition into college.

TWU 101 is a 2-credit hour class designed to give students the tools to be successful, assist with personal growth, and help them feel comfortable at TWU.

The TWU 101 class provides practical advice in notetaking, reading, time management, opportunities for personal wellness and reflection, a place to connect with peers and learn the ins and outs of life at TWU.

Starting at Orientation and going through the first year, the Success Team will be making sure that first-year students are being successful at TWU.  You'll be supported in major selection through Orientation, TWU 101, and Career Services , receive freshman success coaching and participate in workshops geared toward freshman.

Each TWU 101 class has a Peer Mentor dedicated to assisting new students in their transition. These fellow Bulldogs will help you communicate and answer questions,  provide opportunities for engagement outside of class and support you throughout your freshman year.

You'll meet the peer mentors at orientation and have your first class at Welcome Weekend. Don't miss out, so register today!
