Freshman, Do You Copy? Orientation Incoming… Over.

Tennessee Wesleyan University welcomes you to New Student Orientation. During Orientation, new students will meet many members of the University community, learn what it means to be a Bulldog, finalize their financial aid, and more. Freshman students will meet with a faculty advisor to set up their semester schedule. Transfer students will be contacted by their faculty advisor to select classes.

Before attending orientation, there are some steps you can take to enhance your experience and smoothen the transition! Visit the following checklist to find some steps you should begin to complete:

8:30 am – 9:00 am: Check-in (Colloms Campus Center)
9:00 am – 9:15 am: Welcome (Johnson Event Center)
9:15 am – 10:15 am: TWU Basics: Financial Aid, Advising, & Academics
10:15 am – 10:30 am: Break
10:30 am – 11:15 am: Student Life
11:15 am – 12:00 pm: Group Introductions
12:00 pm – 12:55 pm: Lunch (TWU Dining Hall)
1:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Concurrent Sessions*

*Student Concurrent Sessions – Advising, Bulldog Technology, Campus Crawl, Financial Aid
*Family/Guest Concurrent Sessions – Practical Matters, Beyond the Care Package, Campus Crawl, Financial Aid
**There will be a Question & Info Table set up from 4:30-5:00 pm to answer any questions you may have.
